Riyadh Al-Jannah A Glimpse of Paradise
This is not just a part of the Prophet’s Mosque, but rather a garden in the gardens of Paradise.
This is the sacred placewhich is located between the Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) grave and the pulpit of the Prophet (PBUH).
The Holy Prophet (PBUH) said:
“The space between my house and my pulpit
is a garden in the gardens of Paradise.”
For this reason, it is called Riyadh Al-Jannah, i.e., the garden of Paradise
The importance of Riyadh Al-Jannah is also great because the prayers and supplications offered here seem to come from the heart and reach the Lord. This is the sacred place where a special spiritual state is created in worship and the heart finds peace and contentment. Every Muslim has the heartfelt desire to perform two rak’ahs of Nafl at this place and present the most precious, sincere prayers of his life to Allah Almighty.
Cleanliness is of extraordinary importance in Riyadh Al-Jannah. Cleaning is done here several times a day and the fragrance, cleanliness and order are maintained at all times, so that worshippers can have a clean, calm and dignified environment. Because Islam teaches us that cleanliness is half of faith, and purity and cleanliness are essential wherever there is worship.
Green Carpets of Riyadh Al-Jannah — A Glimpse of Paradise, a Symbol of Peace The green carpets of Riyadh Al-Jannah are famous all over the world for their unparalleled beauty, sophistication and spiritual impact. Their green color is considered a symbol of paradise, peace, mercy and spiritual freshness, which gives peace to the heart and coolness to the eyes upon seeing it. These carpets are made of very soft, high-quality fibers, which retain their strength, color and sophistication despite continuous and frequent use.
Their beautiful and balanced design automatically helps in alignment, which creates discipline and harmony among worshipers. As soon as one places one’s head in prostration, one feels a strange spiritual peace, as if one is truly standing in the garden of Paradise and is feeling the closeness of Allah from the depths of one’s heart.
Due to these sacred relations and spiritual values, some green carpets of Riyaz-e-Jannah were gifted by the government to the renowned spiritual healer Pir Usman Ghani Sahib as a special blessing. These carpets are not just a floor, but are sacred monuments associated with the Prophet’s Mosque (PBUH) in which the fragrance of worship, purity and love of the Prophet (PBUH) resides. Obtaining these carpets is a great blessing and a special favor of Allah Almighty, which is a sign that these blessings are a source of grace for the people of the heart.
Alhamdulillah, today these blessed carpets are available for the general public to visit at the Tabarakat Museum, Qaimpur (Bahawalpur District). Pilgrims who come here can not only visit these sacred carpets but also feel the same spiritual state in their hearts that is associated with the relations of Riyaz-e-Jannah. This blessing reminds us that in Islam, worship, cleanliness, beauty, and etiquette are all interconnected, and some trusts are given not just to be seen but to refresh faith.
