🌹 The Key of the Kaaba (765 AH)
Sultan Murad I bin Uthman (RA)
🖋 Quranic Inscriptions, Fragrance of Divine Love and Love for the House of Allah
This is the blessed key that has honor and majesty in relation to the Kaaba. It is not just a metal key, but a living image of the faith, devotion and sincerity of that era when the hearts of the rulers were more attached to the sanctity of the House of Allah than to the throne and crown. The Quranic verses and spiritual inscriptions engraved on this key testify that it was not made by royal decree, but by the love of God deep in the heart.
This key belongs to the year 765 AH, when the first sultan of the Ottoman Empire, Sultan Murad I bin Uthman (RA), was in power. The sultan who considered government as worship, power as trust and authority as service. In whose hearts the love of the Kaaba was ingrained and in whose eyes the exaltation of the religion of Islam was higher than any worldly greatness.
🔑 A practical symbol of love for the Kaaba
This blessed key was prepared during the reign of Sultan Murad I with great effort, sincerity and pure intentions. In its preparation, the skilled craftsmen of that time worked day and night, considering the fatigue of their hands as worship and completing each pattern with blessings and prayers. This key is a clear proof that the Sultan’s connection with the Kaaba and the religion of Islam was not just verbal, but was connected with action, sacrifice and love.
The picture shows that this key is made of strong, dignified and refined metal. The Quranic verses and beautiful engravings engraved on it reflect the artistic perfection of this era as well as the spiritual taste. This is the key that includes the purity of hearts along with the hard work of hands.
🕌 Deep connection with the Kaaba
This sacred key was preserved for a long time in the Kaaba. There, where the eyes are bowed, the heart trembles and the soul bows down before the Lord and finds peace. This key silently witnessed the prayers of those who performed Tawaf, the sighs of prostration and the tears of the eyes.
🕊️ The spiritual journey of the blessed blessing
Later, this blessed key was preserved for some time in the Hijaz Museum, Madinah Munawwarah, where the lovers of the House of Allah and the pilgrims of Madinah used to bow their heads in devotion after seeing it. Then, this holy blessing was given as a gift by the Saudi government to the spiritual healer Hazrat Pir Usman Sahib, so that this connection would be preserved and reach the people of faith.
Today, this blessed key is available for pilgrimage with great respect and courtesy in the Tabrakat Museum, Qaimpur, Bahawalpur District, where the lovers of the two Harams, coming from far away, illuminate their hearts with faith, love and certainty after seeing it.
🌸 Closing Words
This key is not just a means of opening a door, but a symbol of connecting hearts to the House of Allah. It reminds us that real greatness is not in power, but in love for the House of Allah, service to the religion of Islam and sincerity of intention. This monument of Sultan Murad I still teaches us today that the heart that is connected to the Kaaba, that heart remains alive in history.
May Allah Almighty grant us true love for the House of Allah, loyalty to the religion of Islam and the wealth of sincerity, and grant us the ability to appreciate these blessed relationships.
May Allah bless Sayyiduna Muhammad ﷺ and all his companions 🌹
