Ottoman Spiritual Offering of Love for the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) — The Holy Star, 1232 AH
This holy star was prepared in the year 1232 AH, during the glorious, spiritual and religious era of the Ottoman Caliphate. This was a time when the reins of the Ottoman Empire were in the hands of Sultan Mahmud II, and the Caliphate considered serving the Holy Shrine of the Prophet (PBUH) as its greatest privilege and spiritual responsibility. Under the spirit of devotion, respect and love for the Holy Prophet (PBUH), this blessed star was prepared for the Holy Shrine of the Prophet (PBUH) with great delicacy and sacred intention.

Ayatul Kursi is written in the center of this sacred star in the long arched and curved part, which is a symbol of the greatness, sovereignty of Allah Almighty and the spiritual protection of the Holy Shrine of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
The upper part of the star has the word Tayyiba written on the right and left sides, which highlights the foundation of faith, monotheism and divine worship.
Below them, in golden circular boxes, are the blessed names of Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique (RA), Hazrat Umar Farooq (RA), Hazrat Uthman Ghani (RA) and Hazrat Ali (RA), which are a clear symbol of the Rightly Guided Caliphate, justice, loyalty, sacrifice and the Prophetic literature.
The luminous enclosure of Quranic verses, blessings and greetings and traditional Ottoman azkar on all sides keeps this star in an eternal circle of remembrance and love.
Spiritual meaning of colors
The green color symbolizes Medina, paradise, spiritual life and peace of heart.
The gold and yellow colors express light, holiness, divine glory and the greatness of the Prophet’s house.
The red color represents the love of Mustafa (peace be upon him), sacrifice, dedication and Ottoman sincerity.
The black and deep patterns convey a sense of dignity, protection of writing and spiritual depth.
Spiritual meaning
This sacred Ottoman star is not just a sample of colors and calligraphy, but a living expression of the monotheism, faith and love of Mustafa (peace be upon him) that was created in the heart of the Ottoman Caliphate. It contains the Kalima Tayyiba as the foundation of faith, Ayatul Kursi as spiritual protection, and the blessed names of the Rightly Guided Caliphs (may Allah be pleased with them) as a symbol of loyalty, courtesy and prayer surrounding the Holy Shrine of the Prophet (peace be upon him).
This sacred star remained hanging over the Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) shrine for a long time, where it carried the fragrance of remembrance, blessings and devotion in the air of Medina. Even today, every pattern, every color and every letter of it bears witness to the fact that when empires bowed down to the servitude of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), his monuments continue to draw hearts towards Medina even after centuries.
