🖋 Inscription of Bismillah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
The inscription “Bismillah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful” on this blessed lock is not just letters, but the bright voice of the love of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) that, despite the distance of centuries, still draws hearts towards Medina. Literature is reflected in every letter, devotion speaks in every line, and an unparalleled love for the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) is clearly felt in every design.
This is the sacred lock that was molded in the love of the Prophet (peace be upon him), with the intention that the sanctity, greatness and sanctity of the Holy Shrine of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) would always be maintained. This lock is a monument to the blessed era of 791 AH, when Sultan Bayezid I bin Sultan Murad I was prominent on the horizon of the Ottoman Caliphate. The Sultan had this blessing prepared and installed on the Holy Shrine of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) as an expression of his servitude, humility and boundless devotion to the Lord of the Two Worlds (peace be upon him).
🔑 Lock—The Key to a Lover’s Heart
The outward sight considers it an ordinary lock, but the people of the heart know that it is the key to a lover’s heart. The picture shows that this lock is made of a strong and dignified metal like brass or bronze. This is the metal that endures the ups and downs of time but does not lose its dignity, just as the love of the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) has been alive, fresh and bright in hearts for centuries, and has been giving light to lovers of all ages.
🕌 On the threshold of the Holy Prophet’s (ﷺ) Shrine
This blessed lock remained installed on the Holy Prophet’s (ﷺ) Shrine for a long time, where every moment the eyes kept bowing in respect, the hearts kept beating and reciting Durood and the lips were immersed in Salam. This lock remained in the pure atmosphere of Medina as a silent but permanent witness of the love of the Holy Prophet (ﷺ).
🕊 A Sacred Trust
With the passage of time, this blessed lock was preserved for some time in the Hejaz Museum in Medina, where the lovers of the Prophet (peace be upon him) felt moisture in their eyes and peace in their hearts upon seeing it. Later, this holy blessing was given as a gift by the Saudi government to the spiritual healer Pir Usman Sahib, so that this trust of love would be preserved and would bear witness to the love of the Prophet (peace be upon him) from generation to generation.
Today, this blessed lock is available for pilgrimage at the Tabrakat Museum, Qaimpur, Bahawalpur District, where lovers of the Prophet (peace be upon him) from far and wide visit it and fill their hearts with the love, courtesy and devotion of the Prophet (peace be upon him).
🌸 Closing Words
This lock was not meant to close doors, but rather to connect hearts with the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him). Every king of the world, when he appears at the door of the Sultan of Medina (peace be upon him), puts down his kingdom and just becomes a humble servant and offers his greetings.
May Allah Almighty grant us the same love, the same courtesy and the same fortune that these fortunate ones received, and may He make us true, loyal and loving followers of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).
May Allah bless Sayyiduna Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and all his companions 🌹
