This blessed stone, attributed to the blessed feet of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), is not just a sign, but a living memory of that sacred moment. When the Mercy of Allah (PBUH) placed his blessed feet on it, the hard stone bowed down in humility, became soft… and the blessed imprints of the Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) feet were imprinted on it forever. Thus, the lifeless stone was granted the honor that even the earth would be proud of. This blessed foot is such a bright symbol of love, humility, and kinship with the Prophet (PBUH) for the believers that it silently prostrates the hearts upon seeing it. This is the blessed blessing that traditions tell us was among the holy relics of Mecca, where it was always kept safe in the enclosure of devotion, humility, and respect—more than in the protection of hearts. For a long time, this luminous blessed stone remained a center of pilgrimage for the lovers of the Prophet (peace be upon him) in the Hejaz Museum, Madinah, where the eyes would be helpless, the breath would melt into the blessings and the heart would feel itself walking in the streets of Madinah.
Then, by the command of Allah and the special grace of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him), this blessed step was transferred to the spiritual healer and lover of the Prophet (peace be upon him), Hazrat Pir Usman Ghani Sahib. Thus, from the blessed atmosphere of the Holy Hejaz to the soil of the subcontinent, the fragrance of the love of the Prophet (peace be upon him) reached the soil of the subcontinent, which still connects hearts to Madinah today. Today, this holy stone is preserved with great respect and courtesy in the Tabrakat Museum, Qaimpur, Bahawalpur District, where the lovers of the Prophet (peace be upon him) visit it and fill their hearts with light, faith and love.
Seeing this blessed footprint, the heart involuntarily prays that every path of our life may come to a halt on this footprint and that our feet may also become travelers on the same path that Mustafa (peace be upon him) walked. This blessed sign reminds us that real success is not in the world, fame, appearance or authority, but in following the footsteps of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him), in true love, perfect manners and in the relationship with the Messenger (peace be upon him). May Allah Almighty keep us steadfast in the love of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him), keep the sanctity of his blessed relics alive in our hearts forever and grant us the relationship with Medina in all circumstances.
May Allah Almighty grant us the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him
