The reign of Sultan Arkhan I bin Sultan Osman Ghazi — 728 AH
A Living Monument of Love for the Prophet (peace be upon him), Sultanic Devotion and Sacred Service
This blessed lock and key are the great blessings attributed to the Holy Shrine of the Prophet (peace be upon him) which were prepared during the blessed reign of Sultan Arkhan I bin Sultan Osman Ghazi in 728 AH. This was the era when love for the Prophet (peace be upon him) was considered the real strength, real dignity and real identity even in the palaces of the empire.
The Sultan and Khan I had this lock and key prepared by the expert and special craftsmen of their time with great devotion, courtesy and love for the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him). It does not reflect the power of authority, but the humility of servitude; it does not reflect the glory of the kingdom, but the pride of the slavery of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him).

This blessed lock and key remained installed on the Holy Shrine of the Prophet (peace be upon him) for a long time. Where eyes were bowed in respect, hearts were immersed in blessings and lips silently offered greetings—there this lock and key remained the silent trustee of this love.
🕊 Journey from Medina to Safety
After being removed from the Holy Shrine of the Prophet (peace be upon him), this sacred relic was preserved for a long time in the Hejaz Museum, Medina, where it was seen not as a historical object but as a symbol of devotion. Reverence was renewed in every beholding eye, and love for the Prophet (peace be upon him) was renewed in every heart.
Later, this great relic was given as a gift by the Saudi government to the spiritual healer Pir Usman Ghani Sahib—this gift was a clear proof of trust, respect and spiritual kinship.

🌸 Closing Words
These locks and keys were not made to close any door, but to connect hearts with the Holy Shrine of the Prophet (ﷺ). They are a testimony to the fact that when it comes to the love of the Prophet (ﷺ), even a sultan becomes a slave—and this slavery is the true kingship.
